Continuing its famous tradition in being one of the best pick-up trucks on the road, the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado picks up from where its earlier models left off, proving that it is indeed a contender that is here to stay at the top for a while. The 2008 Silverado 1500 is a ‘half ton’ full-size pick-up truck and is available in four engine options. There is a 4.3 liter 195 hp V-6 engine, a 4.8 liter 295 hp V-8 engine, a 5.3 liter 315 hp V-8 engine and a 6 liter V-8, which all feature a four-speed automatic transmission.
Buyers can comprehensively fine-tune their requirements with an array of options regarding drive types, cab sizes, wheelbases, bed sizes, and different trim levels.
The 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 features front passenger airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, and all-wheel ABS. Most of previous 2007 model’s features have been retained in this year’s release.
